The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Gadjah Mada University envisions itself to be a globally renowned graduate programme in producing quality and highly competent professionals in both national and international level, aligned with the values of the Pancasila to serve the interests and prosperity of the nation by collaborating with various stakeholders locally and globally.
MISSION
- To offer, develop and foster graduate study programmes in Veterinary Medicine that is recognised internationally.
- Develop knowledge through continuous improvement in research to support Veterinary education, science, and technology through collaboration with partners both from within and outside the country.
- To produce globally competent postgraduates/S2 graduates aligned with the values of Pancasila for the human well-being.
OBJECTIVES
- To improve students’ scientific knowledge and abilities in the field of Veterinary Medicine in accordance with the noble values of Pancasila and UGM.
- To improve research skills and fostering a research culture for students in accordance with ethics and scientific principles.
- Encourage students to conduct research that will lead to new discoveries in the field of Veterinary Medicine.
- Establish linkages with local, national and foreign stakeholders for teaching, research and extensive collaborations.
